About Me
If you had asked me what I wanted to be as a kid, I would've told you the same thing I would today, an artist. Not to say holding that ideal has always been easy, as growing up in rural Indiana didn't exactly elicit much creativity.

I originally started my college journey at Alma College in 2018, but I transferred to Manchester University in 2020, just in time for the pandemic to change everything. Due to my immune deficiencies, I had to attend my courses online and my relationship with art became increasingly estranged. It was hard to find inspiration in seeing the same things every day. Luckily, I had been introduced to a person that made finding that inspiration easy again, my advisor-turned-friend, Ejenobo Oke. She streamed and recorded every lecture, had picnics in my yard with me to discuss classwork, and overall accommodated me through one of the most tumultuous years of my life. She made Manchester feel like home, even when I couldn't be there physically.

Shortly after the semester ended, I asked Professor Oke to be my advisor and officially declared my major as art with concentrations in graphic design and community arts organization. Despite the difficulties, I knew I had found my path. In 2023, I graduated Manchester University with a BA in the aforementioned subjects and packed up my things.

Now, I reside in the north side of Indianapolis. I currently do commission work, work part-time at an art museum, and am actively looking for a full-time job within the design field.
